This further and higher education college was formed by the merger of several establishments in 2002 and has campuses throughout Wiltshire in southwest England from Salisbury, not far from Southampton on the south coast to Trowbridge, 16km from the historic city of Bath. Foundation degrees and honours degrees are available at different sites. Chippenham for Creative and Media courses, Lackham with its farm and 1,700 acres for animal and farm based courses, Trowbridge for Early Years, Salisbury for Fashion, Photography and Film and the enterprise centre of Castle Combe for Motorsport Engineering. Road and rail links are quite good and it is an area of outstanding natural beauty and history, including the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge.
