Overview

The college was opened as a centre for training in conservation, visual and applied arts in 1971, its founder being the Surrealist Edward Jones. A number of Fda, Diploma and MA courses are offered in a variety of practical subjects from Musical Instruments and Furniture to Horology and Metalwork. The imposing country house is set in a large estate with beautiful gardens and is about 6 miles to the North of the historic city of Chichester which boasts a fine cathedral and theatre. Situated on the south coast of England, Chichester is about 80 miles from London and has good rail links to the capital.
