Founded in 1826 this is the oldest technical university in Poland. It offers a number of Bachelor courses in English in STEM subjects including Aerospace Engineering and Mechatronics. The campus is about 3.8km south of the old town. Warsaw suffered great destruction in WWII and the varied architecture reflects its turbulent past. The beautifully restored old town and market square with its pastel buildings contrast with communist concrete and modern steel and glass buildings. Today it is a vibrant and lively city of culture with excellent transport links.
