Overview

Founded in 1946 as a Teacher Training College Worcester was awarded full university status in 2005. The main St John’s campus is in the heart of this historic cathedral city with its vibrant, small town charm. Worcester on the river Severn lies in the west of England close to the beautiful Malvern Hills and with its good transport links is in easy reach of Birmingham, 53km to the north, and other major UK cities. A broad range of foundation, top ups and honours degree courses is offered, many of which are applied or vocational, for example in Health and Education.
