University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD Swansea)

Overview

UWTSD was formed in 2010 when The University of Wales Lampeter (in southwest Wales 74km from Swansea) and Trinity University College Carmarthen (45km northwest of Swansea) merged under Lampeter’s Royal Charter, granted in 1828. In 2013 Swansea Metropolitan University became a constituent member of UWTSD. The Welsh International Academy of Voice in Cardiff is also a member. The university offers a range of undergraduate courses, including applied and creative degrees. Lampeter is home to Humanities and Performing Arts and Earl Years Education is taught in Carmarthen. Swansea is in on the southwest coast of Wales with its sandy beaches has good transport links to Cardiff (66km) and beyond.
