The main campus is situated in Tartu 185km south of the capital Tallinn; this the national university of Estonia which was established in 1632. The town is close to the conservation area of Alam Pedja with its old rivers and the habitat of rare birds. Courses in English include a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and an MD in Medicine. Medical students are expected to take an Estonian language course. Tartu is two and a half hours south of Tallinn International Airport.
