University of Stockholm

Overview

Founded in 1878 this public university offers a Bachelor course in English in International Business and Politics at the Stockholm Business School in Kräftiket which means crayfish kingdom. It is located to the North of the old town close to the bay in the vast area of outstanding natural beauty which was designated ‘national city park’ in 1995 and was the world’s first. The capital city of Stockholm in south central Sweden is where Lake Mälaran flows into the Baltic Sea and stretches over 14 islands linked by bridges and ferries. The Swedes call the city ‘beauty on water’. The old town (Gamla Stan) boasts razor thin cobblestone streets a 13th century cathedral and fine ochre coloured buildings. It is a city renowned for its good design and as a foodie hub. In the winter there is skating on Lake Mälaran. Transport links are very good- ferry road rail and air.
