Plymouth Marjon University is situated on the northern edge of the coastal city of Plymouth in Devon in the far southwest of England within easy reach of beautiful countryside and beaches. It is three hours by train from London. Founded in the 19th century to train teachers in London two colleges merged and relocated to Plymouth in 1973. Affiliated initially to the University of Exeter it gained university college status in 2007 and this small institute offers 58 deree courses, many of which are applied. New students are guaranteed accommodation (conditions apply).
