Overview

Created in 2013 by the merger of the University of Glamorgan and the University of Wales USW has campuses in Cardiff, Newport and Pontrpridd. The Glytaff and Treforest sites make Pontypridd the largest campus. The town is 17km and 20 minutes by train from Cardiff, the capital of Wales, where there is an airport and road and rail links are good. Newport is two hours by car from London and it too has good, road, rail and air links . A wide range of courses from Animation to International Wildlife Biology is offered. Courses are often only available at a specific campus.
