This public university founded in 1990 offers Medicine and Dentistry in English. The city of Oradea is in north-west Romania close to the Hungarian border. Situated on the Cri?ul Respede River it is known for its baroque and art nouveau architecture remnants of the Austro- Hungarian Empire. Secessionist buildings line the Strada Republica. Students can try the spa waters of the natural hot geothermal springs or ski in the mountains. It has a small international airport and rail links to Budapest (Hungary) and the capital Bucharest 630km.
