Overview

Founded in 1976 this is the most international university in the Netherlands and has a problem based learning approach. 50% of the Bachelor degree courses are offered in English. It is home to a European Law School and there are seven STEM oriented programmes. Maastricht is a small city on the southern tip in the province of Limburg. Bisected by the River Maas it is one of the oldest cities with cobbled streets and medieval buildings and at the same time a lively and energetic student city (20% of the population) with a vibrant cultural scene. It has very good transport connections. Brussels airport is 1hr 40 minutes by train.
