Founded in 1996 this university offers a number of Bachelor courses in a range of subjects including in I.T. and Aviation Management. The campus is about 1.8km west of the city centre. Rzeszow in south-east Poland is close to the borders with Ukraine and Slovakia. It is an academic centre – one third of the population are students – and regarded as the safest city in Poland. Situated at the crossroads of ancient trade routes it is in a region of national parks and nature reserves. The medieval town has an underground cellar complex dating from the 15th century. Rzeszow has a small international airport and is 2 hours by train from Krakow.
