Overview

Founded in 1911 this is Iceland’s oldest and largest university. Reykjavík is on the coast in southern Iceland which is the world’s most northerly capital and known for its colourful buildings art cool cafés and bars. The country is called the land of fire and ice because of its geological contrasts – volcanoes lava fields geysers and more. The university offers a Bachelor degree in English and Icelandic as a second language in English. Reykjavík has an international airport.
