This University was established as a specialist institution for the study of forestry and has been offering Veterinary Science since 1994 and in English since 2017. Students also follow a Bulgarian language course. It is situated in the modern and historic capital city of Sofia which has a small international airport. Red Army monuments vie for attention with beautiful historic buildings. Since 2007 Bulgaria in south-east Europe has been a member state of the EU.
