Overview

This public university was founded in 1632 and is the oldest in the Netherlands. It offers 15 Bachelor programmes in English in a wide range of fields – from Actuarial Science to Political Science. It has campuses all over the great historic city of Amsterdam and is in the process of clustering its real estate in four locations. Amsterdam boasts an elaborate canal system and a web of cycle tracks. It is a city of surprises – full of little lanes canals and pretty bridges and narrow gabled facades dating to the 17th century. Tourists are drawn by its treasure packed museums – Rembrandt Van Gogh the Anne Frank House the red light district and the coffee houses and much more. Amsterdam has excellent transport links and an international airport Schipol with flights all over the world.
