University for the Creative Arts

Overview

Founded 150 years ago the university was created in 2008 after a series of mergers of several colleges. The main campus is in Farnham about 64 kilometres south west of London close to the beautiful wooded Surrey hills. There are good road and rail links to the capital. It is a specialist college for the creative industries and most of the degree courses are taught here. The degree in Hand Embroidery for Fashion is taught at the Royal College of Needlework. For the most part access and pre-degree courses are taught at other campuses- Epsom, Rochester, Canterbury. Some accommodation is available on all sites.
