The Grimsby Institute is the main provider of technical and professional training in the area. The Nuns Corner site is home to the University Centre which was opened in 2011. It offers degree courses in a limited number of subjects, mainly applied, for example in Health and Social Care, Early Years , Tourism and Management and more. Grimsby is situated on the east coast of England at the mouth of the Humber in northeast Lincolnshire. The sea port once had the largest fishing fleet in the world and is now a centre for off-shore wind farms. It has good road and rail links to the cities of Doncaster and Sheffield in South Yorkshire.
