Overview

Founded in 1224 this is the oldest public non-religious university in the world. Since 2015 it has been offering Medicine in English. The school of Medicine and Hospital are just north of and within easy reach of the old historical centre of Naples by metro. Naples in south-west Italy is a sprawling city of great contrasts – grime and graffiti and on the other hand a world heritage site with amazing palaces castles churches archaeological sites and a wonderful cuisine – arguably the best pizza pasta and coffee in Italy. It is within easy reach of the Roman city of Pompeii and has very good transport links.
