Founded in 1924 this public multi-disciplinary university with its Botanic Gardens and Observatory is housed in historic buildings – beautiful palazzi. It has a prestigious choir and orchestra. It offers a Bachelor degree in Political Sciences and Medicine in English. Milan perhaps Italy’s wealthiest city is in the northern area of Lombardy. For centuries it has been famed for its art and culture – from Leonardo’s ‘The last Supper’ to the opera ‘La Scala’ from the Gothic cathedral (Duomo) to its world renowned Fashion Houses and high-end shopping. Milan has excellent international transport links and is within reach of mountains and lakes.
