This public university in the Emilia Romagna area of North Italy has its roots in the year 962 and was established as a university in 1601 in the historical city of Parma, famed for its cheese and ham, the frescoed cathedral, Romanesque buildings and the Palazzo della Pilotta with its fine paintings. It offers a 2 year MSc in International Business and Development in English. A new medical school is being established (2021) in the historical town of Piacenza, 64km to the Northwest, with a master’s degree in medicine being offered in English.
