With its roots in the 19th century this civic university has four main campuses in Northern Ireland and in its current form dates from 1984. The Coleraine Campus on the North coast is close to the Causeway Coast Heritage Site, Magee is situated in the cultural city Derry- Londonderry, Jordanstown is 15 minutes from Belfast city centre and there is the modern and expanding Belfast campus. They offer a range of honours’ degree courses including creative and technological subjects. Many courses are with a work placement and Ulster is known for its sport. The university also has campuses in England in Birmingham and London. Belfast airport has flights to mainland UK.
