It is situated on the southwest edge of the small town of Kamloops, which is in the traditional territory of the Secwepemc people. Kamloops means ‘melting of the waters’ – it lies on the junction of the North Thompson and South Thompson Rivers in the South of British Columbia. It is an area of rolling hills with a sparkling lake and boasts world class sporting facilities. The Williams Lake campus is 292km to the North.
