Overview

The University is just 2km west of Manchester city centre in Salford which is home to the L.S. Lowry Art Gallery and the BBC and ITV studios in Media City UK on the regenerated Salford Quays. The Royal Technical Institute was founded in 1896 and the University was handed its Royal Charter in 1967. The main campus Peel Park and other sites are clustered together and offer a broad range of degrees
