Situated on the Mersey estuary in the northwest of England, Liverpool was a renowned international port. Founded in 1881 the university is housed in Victorian and contemporary buildings in the city centre. Its innovative Year in China Programme gives students the opportunity to spend a year at an English speaking Chinese university.
