University of Hull

Overview

Founded in 1927 the redbrick university offers a range of traditional and modern courses at foundation and honours degree levels. A year abroad or a placement in industry is often possible. The university takes employability seriously and has created the Hull Employability Awards, an extra award that endorses employability. Hull is a vibrant and cultural historic city in the East Riding of Yorkshire on the Humber estuary in the north of England. It is the UK City of Culture 2017 and the Ferens Gallery is hosting the Turner Prize. It has very good rail links and fast roads to the Yorkshire cities of Sheffield and Leeds and a small airport nearby.
