Overview

Huddersfield is a small lively city in West Yorkshire with impressive Victorian architecture and modern university buildings. Granted university status in 1992 it has much older 19th roots and today offers a wide range of courses, many of which are applied. All students have the opportunity to gain professional work-place experience. The great cities of Leeds to the north and Manchester to the southwest with its international airport are a short train journey away. The beautiful hills of the Peak District and the Pennines are within easy reach.
