University of Bradford

Overview

The plate glass University of Bradford was awarded its Royal Charter in 1966. Bradford in West Yorkshire is the world’s first UNESCO City of Film and home to the National Media Museum as well as the large collection of David Hockney’s work at nearby Saltaire. There are two campuses and dedicated bus services link the Emm Lane site to the city centre campus. It has excellent transport connections by road, rail and air. Leeds is 25 minutes away by train and the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside is within easy reach. The School of Pharmacy dates back to 1927 and is well regarded today. There are many courses which can be extended from three to four years to include a work placement.
