The King’s University

Overview

This very small undergraduate institution, founded in 1979 and renamed The King’s University in 2015, has small class sizes and offers a limited range of bachelor courses. It is a private university with a strong Christian focus and is situated in the large modern city of Edmonton, the capital of Alberta province in the West of Canada. Edmonton is very cold for much of the year and offers outdoor sporting activities for example skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. It is known as Canada’s Festival City because it hosts so many and such a variety of festivals throughout the year. The Elk Island National Park, which boasts the highest density of wild hoofed animals in the world outside the Serengeti, is just 49km from the city. Edmonton has an international airport and very good road links.
