Overview

This university founded in 1987 is an internationally oriented university of applied science. The campus is in the Scheveningen district of the city close to idyllic sandy beaches. Den Haag (The Hague) is the home of Dutch politics. The Peace Palace houses the International Court of Justice and makes the city the centre for world justice. In the Mauritshuis gallery there is Vermeer’s ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ and in the Municipal Museum Mondrian’s major works. Den Haag is a green and cycle-friendly capital city on the north-west coast. It has excellent transport links.
