Overview

Established in 2010 this is Finland’s second largest university in engineering science. It offers a Bachelor degree in English in the field of Technology. The campus is in Hervanta a suburb of the city close to the Hermia Science Park which has technology start-ups and a Nokia research institution. The town is situated in southern Finland about 180km north of Helsinki. It is on a narrow isthmus between two great lakes and close to the largest gravel ridge in the world formed by the ice age. It is the largest lake district in Europe. Tampere has an airport with flights to Stockholm Helsinki and Riga.
