Overview

Founded in 1920, Swansea University is situated in Wales’s Waterfront City with its 5 mile stretch of Swansea Bay sandy beach and is also on the edge of the beautiful Gower Peninsula. Swansea is in southwest Wales and has good transport links to Cardiff (66km) and beyond. The original Singleton Park campus is close to the city centre and the Bay Campus, home to the Engineering and Management faculties, has direct access to the beach and seafront. Swansea is one of very few universities in the UK to offer a degree in PPE. It is Welsh University of the Year 2017.
