Founded in 1922 to provide teacher training the college became a university college of Queen’s University Belfast 1968. It is situated 3km from the city centre and its 18 hectares of parkland is a haven for wildlife and nature. The college offers education degrees. Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland, situated on the east coast and close to beautiful countryside. It has an international airport, good road links to Eire and the rest of N.I. and ferries to the UK mainland sail from Belfast.
