The university was founded in 1850 and is the oldest catholic university in the UK. It occupies a beautiful campus in the grounds of the 18th century Strawberry Hill House and central London is within easy reach by mainline train. Twickenham is in southwest London, close to Richmond and many green spaces. Very good sporting facilities are available on site and at the Teddington Lock Sportsground nearby. The university offers a limited range of undergraduate courses.
