Overview

Founded in 1916 SOAS is a constituent member of the University of London. It is situated in Central London, very close to the British Museum. The college specialises in the study of Asia, Africa, the Near and Middle East with a focus on their languages and culture. The Brunei Gallery hosts contemporary and historical exhibitions from Asia, Africa and the Middle East and in addition there is the Japanese Roof garden dedicated to Forgiveness.
