Overview

Formed in 1993 by a merger of six colleges, there are campuses in and around Sheffield. The creative hub is at Hillsborough. The college offers a variety of HNC’s, foundation degrees and top ups which are mainly validated by Sheffield Hallam or the Open University. There is a foundation degree in Bakery & Patisserie Technology. Sheffield with its proximity to the hills of the Peak District National Park is often described as a great outdoors city. It is also a cultural centre and home to the well-known Crucible Theatre. Situated in the north of England in South Yorkshire the city has very good road, rail and air links.
