Founded in 1791 the veterinary school is a small specialist institution situated in Camden, just north of King’s Cross in central London. Vet medical (after the first two years) and vet nursing students spend much of their time at the Hertfordshire Hawkshead campus- a free shuttle bus runs to Potters Bar station.In addition Bolton Parks Farm is a farm animal practical teaching facility and there are state-of-the-art teaching spaces and accommodation on the campus. Biological Science programmes are mainly taught in Camden.
