RMCC educates and trains students for careers as commissioned officers in the Canadian Armed Forces. Foreign students participate in undergraduate programs through inter-governmental arrangements. The campus is on Point Frederick just 1.6km east of downtown Kingston, a vibrant, student city, which is considered one of the best places to live in Canada. Kingston with its pretty waterfront lies in southwestern Ontario at the point where Lake Ontario flows into the St Lawrence River. It is within reach of major cities – Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa and also New York. It is on the railway and has good road and air links. Kingston, the Limestone City, was built on a First Nations site and has 21 National Historic Sites close by.
