Royal Danish Academy of Music

Overview

Founded in 1867 the college focuses on classical music from period to contemporary. It offers a B.Mus. Students specialise in an instrument including the accordion. Teaching is in English by international musicians but the primary language is Danish and full fee paying students follow Danish language courses as part of their studies. It lies just west of the old city centre in Frederiksberg. Copenhagen epitomises Scandicool from its cycling commuters to its architecture and culinary delights and much more. It is situated on the coastal islands of Zealand and Amager and is linked to Malmö in southern Sweden by the Öresund Bridge. Copenhagen has very good international transport links.
