Established by Royal Charter in 1882 the conservatoire is situated in South Kensington opposite the Royal Albert Hall. Professors include international musicians and principal players from London orchestras and students enjoy outstanding performance opportunities. In addition to the B.Mus. there is a BSc. in Physics and Musical Performance- the Physics modules are undertaken at neighbouring Imperial College. Exchange opportunities with international conservatoires in Europe, USA and Australia are available.
