Robert Gordon University

Overview

With 19th century roots and incorporating the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture (1957) it was granted university status in 1992. The Garthdee campus was opened in 1998, a beautiful site close to the river Dee and 3 kilometres southwest of historic Aberdeen city centre, on the east coast in North Scotland with its excellent air and rail links to the rest of the UK. It offers a range of courses including Business, Social Sciences, Engineering and Architecture. Many courses involve a work placement and it boasts the lowest unemployment rate for graduates in Scotland.
