Overview

The small rural town of Kleve in north-west Germany has many historic sites; its most famous citizen was Ann of Cleves fourth wife to Henry VIII. It is close to the Dutch border and within easy reach of Xanten with its extensive Roman remains. Founded in 2011 the university offers a number of degree courses in English including in Engineering at Cleve. A second campus is in Kamp Lintfort 53km to the south. The international airport of Düsseldorf is about one hour by car.
