Overview

This partly public engineering university was established in 1859. With many campuses in Piedmont it offers Bachelor degrees (laurea) in Architecture and Electronic and Communications Engineering in English in Turin. Courses are theoretical and applied. Turin (Torino) is in north-west Italy and is the administrative centre of Piedmont. Situated on the River Po it is surrounded by the Alps. Known both for its fine Baroque buildings beautiful boulevards elegant squares and palaces and contemporary architecture it is also home to the motor industry (Fiat). Turin is a large and vibrant city with a great food and wine culture. It has excellent transport links.
