Overview

The historic city of Oxford is situated an hour by train west of London and close to the beautiful Cotswolds. It is a bustling town and home to the oldest university in the English speaking world. The university consists of more than thirty different colleges and halls. The self-governing and financially independent colleges select and admit the students and the university determines the content of the courses and awards the degrees and much more. It is very competitive and there are tests for most undergraduate courses for which applicants need to register. All applications must be submitted through UCAS by 15th October in the year before the course begins.
