Founded in 1996 the university is in the city of Oulu which lies at the head of the Gulf of Bothnia in western Finland. Called the ‘Technology’ city it is spread across several islands which are connected by pedestrian bridges and cycle ways and has a fine waterfront square. The university offers Bachelor degrees in English in Information Technology and International Business. Oulu has a small airport with frequent flights to Helsinki.
