Nottingham Trent University

Overview

The city of Nottingham lies in the north of the East Midlands in the heart of England. A lively, student friendly city with a thriving arts’ scene and once famous for Raleigh bicycles and lace-making, it was named Home of English Sport in 2015. It is home to the National Ice Centre. In 1992 Trent Polytechnic became Nottingham Trent University and occupies three campuses. The main campuses are in the city centre, but the Brackenhurst campus with its farm and woodlands is in a more rural location. It is here that courses, for example Veterinary Nursing and Zoo Biology, are taught. Nottingham has an excellent transport system and very good road, rail and air links.
