Overview

Founded in 1994 and fully accredited in 2016 this university has nine study locations and focuses on developing regional networks with communities business and industry. It offers a Bachelor[CN2] course at BodØ in Biology and at Steinkjer Games and Entertainment Technology and Animal Science in English. The town centre Steinkjer campus is home to 1 000 students and situated close to the west coast in central Norway. It is in one of Norway’s richest agricultural regions. It is 1 hour 20 minutes from Trondheim by train with its small international airport. BodØ boasting the midnight sun in the summer and the northern lights in winter is within the Arctic Circle in the North of the country. It has a small airport.
