Overview

The School of Agriculture was founded in 1955 and has expanded to include related disciplines including animal sciences. There is a focus on practical skills and students do internships. A Bachelor course in Equine Management and Care and Veterinary Science are offered in English. The main campus is in the city about 3km west of the old town. Lublin is the largest city in south-east Poland. Like so many Polish cities it suffered great destruction in WWII but it was a leading centre for Jewish scholarship and has today a thriving cultural and academic scene. It is a main transport hub with excellent road and rail connections and a small international airport. The capital Warsaw is 2 hours 45 minutes by rail.
