The university was created in 2002 following a merger of North London and Guildhall universities. Campuses are in central London in Holloway, Aldgate and Moorgate. A range of traditional courses in Creative Subjects, Science, Business and Computing and more are offered. Unusual combinations include Beauty Marketing and Journalism and Media with Arabic.
