Overview

Established in 1945 this institution has increased in size to become one of the biggest technical universities in Poland. The campus is situated about 4km south of the town centre and the modern and old buildings are set in a green park. It offers a number of Bachelor degrees in English including Architectural Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunications and more. ?odz is situated right in the centre of the country about 136km south-west of the capital Warsaw. This former industrial centre boasts the longest pedestrian street in Poland 4.2km with a hotch potch of styles from neoclassical and art nouveau to modern. Street art brightens up the post-industrial landscape; the Manufaktura Complex is a culture and arts centre. There is a small international airport and road and rail links are good.
