Overview

Founded in 1954 this co-educational Roman Catholic institution is affiliated with Western University. The students have access to Western’s facilities and programs and degrees are awarded by Western University. The green campus is situated about 1.8km east of Western’s main campus. London lies midway between Toronto and Detroit USA and close to Lake Erie. It is called the Forest City because it boasts more than 200 parks, woodlands and meadows. The city has a large student population and a young upbeat feel. There are a number of historic buildings and museums including Banting House, once the home of the man who conceived of the idea of extracting insulin from the pancreas. The city has an international airport.
